My experience at Peloton has been nothing short of amazing, from the relationships I have made to the wealth of knowledge that is constantly being distributed by an incredibly bright group of people. My role here at Peloton is to collaborate with our clients by understanding their existing business processes and infrastructure, and provide a desired future-state technical solution.
“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” – Michael Jordan
I have played multiple roles at Peloton, from a functional consultant to a back-end developer. As a consultant, I actively participated in our Peloton MobilizationTM process, where we assess the client’s current-state technology and processes through highly interactive workshops, and develop a visual roadmap of optimal future-state initiatives. As a developer, I thoroughly enjoy working with clients to think through complex logic and automating business processes behind the scenes with the push of a button, eliminating painful manual processes that were once in place.
In my free time, if I’m not in the gym, you’ll find me running along the lake or at the local animal shelter. I’m very health-conscious and do my best to stick to a clean diet and get a daily workout in. I’m an avid volunteer for the PAWS Adoption Center in Chicago, providing mentorship for new volunteers and helping puppies find their forever homes by facilitating the adoption process. I’m also a musical enthusiast, as I have been playing the piano since childhood. As a child, I would play for hours and the smile on my mother’s face would feel so gratifying. I play and learn new songs to this day to perform for others.
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Finance, where I was a recipient of the Evans Scholarship, which is a full tuition, caddie-based scholarship program that sends select individuals to one of 14 universities across the nation. The decision to join Peloton stemmed from the fascinating concept of integrating business and technology. I played a more functional role in the manufacturing financial services industry prior to joining team Peloton, so I have definitely embraced the technical side. Technology has always inspired me and daily interaction with it keeps me both highly motivated and entertained.
